Virtual Earth 5 月更新已经完成，此次更新的数据量又达到了 20TB。除了部分城市的高清相片之外，主要增加了一个名为 GoVE 的新项目，据了解，GoVE 能够让所有城市、州和地区的政府等机构，通过这一开放式的平台分享各地的照片上传至 Virtual Earth，这不仅让 Live Search Maps 和 Virtual Earth 用户可以受益，其中的数据还同时提供不少的企业和第三方应用平台。
