InfoWorld 有消息表明，最近正进行中的在西班牙塞维利亚举办的开发者高峰会议上，Ubuntu 团队表明，正在计划开发 Mobile 版本 Linux 操作系统。这一次他们仍然会基于 Debian 开发，跟 Intel 的 GMAE 项目相辅相成。预计他们第一版 Mobile 版本的操作系统将会在今年十月份与 Ubuntu 7.10 一起发布。
