The Weather Channel 与 Google 合作新的 maplet

Google 日前又签署了一份合作协议，合作方是天气信息服务商 The Weather Channel。The Weather Channel 最近半年比较活跃，除了与多方达成合作之外，去年九月份和十月份分别收购了 Weather Bonk、Lake Rentals 和 Coastalrentals。此次与 Google 合作是向 Google Maps 电子地图服务提供新的 maplet，新的 maplet 能够方便插入天气预报，这些天气信息都是由 The Weather Channel 的数据库提供，而式样则是由 Google 设计，可给用户比较大的自定义空间。
