Sun将发布集成Derby的服务器软件

Sun宣布将开始在其发布的Java服务器软件中集成开源的Derby数据库。另外，Sun还称已经开发了一个插件使Derby能更紧密的和NetBeans协作。今年早些时候Sun开始向由IBM捐献嵌入式Java数据库发起Apache Derby项目委派工程师。该数据库由Sun所支持的版本称为open Java DB。Sun在其最新的Java Enterprise System suite使用了该数据库。随着NetBeans 5.0的发布，Sun将提供一个插件使得使用open Java DB编写和部署应用程序更加方便。
