微软给 Yahoo 的最后通牒快到期限了，Yahoo 方面依然举棋不定。对于此，微软 CEO Steve Ballmer 表示，没有 Yahoo 微软依然前行：

"Microsoft Corp. is willing to go it alone rather than buy Yahoo Inc. And he has a reason besides opposition from the Internet company: skepticism among his own employees."

收购 Yahoo 可以算是一个不错的选择，但是没有 Yahoo，微软也完全有能力继续开拓互联网市场。这不仅表明微软收购 Yahoo 一事即将告一段落，同时也是 Steve Ballmer 针对近日微软员工的一些"声音"做出的有力答复。同时，失去微软的 Yahoo 未来将会有什么命运，还不得而知，但是肯定会越来越艰难。
