微软在测试其Origami UMPC原型机的时候发现本应该在等待"官方"操作系统的三星工程师们给机器装上了Linux，这个系统能够显示一个分辨率800x400的桌面，正常运行GNOME桌面环境。微软的UMPC拥有一颗1GHz的处理器，256MB内存和30GB或者60GB的硬盘。[via]
