一月份的时候就介绍过 Last.fm on Windows Mobile，那是 Last.fm 首次针对移动设备试行的客户端工具。随着 iPhone 3G 的发售，Last.fm 又把注意力投向了 iPhone 这个看起来更有价值的平台。之前说过，大部分人听音乐，更多的是在 PMP 等随身设备上，Last.fm 一直以来可以追踪和统计的客户端仅限于电脑上，局限性相当大。而这一次 iPhone App 的发布，算是迈出了一步，iPhone 本身也可以作为 PMP 使用，用户活动的激活量会更大。

不过也有不太爽的消息，目前该应用仅面向有限的国家地区，包括美国、英国、加拿大、法国、德国和西班牙：

"…we are initially rolling this out in the US, UK, Canada, France, Germany and Spain. We're looking at other locales but have to deal with licensing and a host of other issues. We assure you that we're working on it."
