BT 下载也属于日常下载渠道之一，这方面软件在 Windows 上比较多，Gnome 下也有合适的 BT 客户端，否则也太对不起广大的 Ubuntu 用户了。Freeloader 就是其中一款，GUI 设计相当简约，注重功能上的效用和实际操作性，运行所需基本环境：
- Linux operating system (similar systems may work)
- python 2.3 or 2.4
- pygtk 2.6
- 2 MB install space
- GTK+ 2.6 or greater
- BitTorrent python module version 3.4
