　　Warren Togami 在邮件列表中发布了 Fedora Core 5 开发周期中的第一个开发版本，并提到 test2 将在圣诞节前后发布；FC5 Test1 包括以下特性：X.org 模块，对 SCIM 做了较大改进，内核为2.6.15-rc1-git3，Xen 3.0，包含整套的开源 Java 环境 (gcj, classpath, tomcat, jonas, eclipse)；官方已经提供BitTorrent 下载。
