InfoWorld 近日公布了一份非主流 Office 应用横向比较的研究报告，其中选取了四种目前免费的 Office 应用套件作为评测、比较的样本，包括 Zoho、Google Docs、IBM 的免费项目 Symphony 以及 OpenOffice.org。比较结果如上图所示（点击小图可见大图），InfoWorld 对 Google Docs 的评价并不高，反而是 Zoho 与 Symphony 获得了更多的褒奖：

"If you're ready to embrace the SaaS future, then Zoho could be the productivity suite you've been waiting for. Zoho can provide both personal productivity and business back-end applications, and with Google Gears, you can keep working on documents even if you can't find the Internet. Zoho is the only suite here that you could easily use to run a complete business. It's also the only one that can run virtually all the Excel macros you might have developed."

HUNG 早在去年就不怎么看重 Google Docs，而一些人则是因为 Google 的产品而对其的诸多问题视而不见。越来越多的第三方评测，其中不乏一些权威的杂志和媒体，以及相应的专业人士，已经逐步正视了这个市场与实际应用的优劣区分。或许目前 Google Docs 中的文字处理还算可以，但是别忘了，Google Docs 的在线文字处理不仅还有不少功能是缺失的，而且在线的文字处理应用实在是很简单的开发项目。不能理解的话，不妨可以看看 Google Docs 中的电子表格与香港的 EditGrid 之间的差距。
