6月30日起微软停止对win98/Me提供技术支持

微软公司近日通过网站表示，将从今年6月30日开始全面停止对Windows 98、Windows 98 SE和Windows ME三个操作系统的技术支持。届时微软将不再提供定期安全更新。

按照计划，微软下一代操作系统Windows Vista将于今年圣诞节前夕上市。微软表示，Windows 98操作系统由于软件推出时间已经很长，导致其安全性能下降。微软建议用户升级到一个更安全的操作系统，比如Windows XP，或是购买今年上市的Vista。微软网站中针对Windows 98操作系统的支持文档仍将继续保留。
